Chawoo Co. Ltd. was established in 1990 when Korea was in the stage of taking a big step forward as an export and trade centered country.

During that period, a large number of textile companies were established but due to IMF and losing price competitiveness to developing countries, most of them either closed down or scaled down.

However even through these difficult times, Chawoo Co. diversified its production basis to China and Southeast Asia to improve productivity as well as competitiveness. This period, coupled with relentless effort of every staff and continuous R&D, has become an opportunity to earn the trust from our buyers.

Presently, Chawoo is attempting to develop high value added items in many areas on top its main business of textile trading and the year 2016 will be the year of origin for new businesses.
